Mark McVey: Chief Oohgabooga

Mark McVey is the co-founder of Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders and is Chief Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga; running the day-to-day island operations. Mark created Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders with a true passion for bringing the spirit of the South Seas to everyone who loves the barefoot luxury lifestyle.

Mark's extensive travels to exotic South Seas islands inspired a wish to share the incredible products he discovered there. Mark's experience as a marketer, helped him create the venue to get these unique, authentic and quality tropical products to customers.

Mark is also the founder and creative director of McVey Creative Group, a full service advertising and marketing firm. McVey Creative Group's clients have included Honeywell, Dixon-Ticonderoga, Varian Medical Systems, Hallmark Cards, the Home Shopping Network, R.P. Scherer, Templeton Mutual Funds, and Tropicana.

Mark has worked in the creative marketing industry for over 25 years. He is an accomplished cinematographer, a published author, seasoned video editor, and a former professional musician.

Mandy Cox: Executive Vice-President

Mandy Cox is the co-founder of Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders, and oversees day-to-day operations with Chief Oohgabooga. Mandy has over 20 years in the marketing industry, and previously served as Chief Operating Officer for McVey Creative Group, Inc., where she worked on a variety of Fortune 500 accounts, and significantly contributed to the strategic growth of the company.

Mandy was involved with product development and brand expansion while a marketing manager for R.P. Scherer Cosmetics for top cosmetics companies; Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Davidoff, Oscar De La Renta, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany, Elizabeth Taylor, and more.
