Because of the unique nature of these items we sometimes run out of inventory. We apologize for this inconvenience. If we do not have an item in stock we can get it made for you. Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance on an order will be debited from the same account that the deposit was received from upon confirmation of delivery.
Surfboard Availability.
While we try to keep many of our custom surfboards in stock, they do run out from time to time. If we do run out of a design or style that you are interested in we will let you know. If we do not have a particular board in stock that gives you a special opportunity to CUSTOMIZE your Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga surfboard! Add your name or logo! Personalize your island status!

Custom Ordered Surfboards Can Take Up 12 Weeks Depending On Type Of Order,
Color /Airbrush / Artwork, Special Glassing Instructions, etc., etc., etc..
Large items require additional packaging and handling fees due to their unique, fragile nature, size and weight. All of these factors affect the shipping costs.

How we ship surfboards:
When you place an order for a surfboard, you can select the shipping option you prefer, ground or 2nd day air. We ship typically with DHL or FEDEX, but sometimes with other carriers whose service is more cost effective for surfboards. Because surfboards are very lightweight & fragile, but also oversized in dimensions, they are expensive to ship. We are always researching the best service available for our clients.
Please let us know if you have a preferred shipper and we'll check them out.
We always insure our surfboards for the full retail value and so there is no risk to you in terms of loss or damage during shipping. We also pack our surfboards with the utmost care and integrity to protect them during transit. Should your board be lost or damaged, contact us immediately and we will begin the claims process. A great tip for receiving surfboards is not to sign for them until you have opened and inspected the package to make sure there is no damage.

Claims of Damages
a. All claims on damaged products must be made within twenty-four
hours of delivery, NO EXCEPTIONS.
b. Claims should be made by calling Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders as soon
as the damaged product arrives. Our number is 503-380-3722
c. Damages that occur after the product is received/used are not the
responsibility of Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders, so BE CAREFUL!
Length of a Surfboard Order
a. Board orders will be processed once the deposit is received. The shaper
determines board manufacturing time.
b. Ooh-Ga-Boo-Ga Island Traders will be in contact with the shaper for an
estimate of the
length of time the order will take but is NOT responsible for orders that take
longer than estimated.
c. Claims against extreme differences between the estimated manufacturing
time and actual manufacturing time will be determined on a case-by-case
basis.
